Dr. Sindhu Abraham is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics, Faculty of Pharmacy, with over 22 years of teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm.), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutics from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights (PGDIPR).

Dr. Abraham has made significant contributions to pharmaceutical research and innovation. She has been awarded three patents and has successfully secured a Department of Science and Technology (DST)-sponsored research project. She has authored one book, contributed book chapters, and published more than 55 research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals. Her research interests include wound healing, chronotherapeutic drug delivery systems, and nanoformulations.

She is actively engaged in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, including those enrolled in B.Pharm., Pharm.D., M. Pharm., and Pharma MBA programmes. Her commitment to academic excellence extends beyond the classroom through her involvement in curriculum development, research supervision, and student mentoring.

As the IQAC Coordinator of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Abraham plays a key role in institutional quality assurance and is actively involved in NAAC and NBA accreditation initiatives, contributing to academic quality enhancement and continuous institutional improvement.

Dr. Abraham is a Life Member of the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), the Association of Community Pharmacists of India (ACPI), and the Karnataka State Pharmacy Council (KSPC). She also serves as a Mentor with Towards Unity for Health (TUFH), an international organization committed to promoting equitable, community-oriented health services, education, and research with the goal of improving health outcomes at both local and global levels.
