Research interests lie at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), cardiovascular healthcare, real-world data (RWD), and health economics, with a particular focus on developing predictive models for hospital readmissions among patients with heart failure (HF) and acute coronary syndrome (ACS). The primary focus is on data-driven, explainable AI models that enhance clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes. This involves integrating pharmacological data, echocardiographic, and ECG-based predictors into advanced ML models, comparing their performance with traditional statistical methods, and optimizing their application in real-world clinical settings. The goal is to leverage AI and ML techniques to develop robust, interpretable models that can support healthcare professionals in making evidence-based decisions, ultimately leading to better patient care and resource management.
