Dr. Sachit T S has made significant contributions to both academia and research, particularly in the fields of Robotics, Automation, and Advanced Manufacturing. With a strong foundation in Machine Design and a passion for integrating industry-oriented knowledge into his teaching, He currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Ramaiah University of Applied Science, Bangalore. His research focuses on materials engineering, particularly hybrid nano-composites, and he has published 30 research articles extensively in high-impact journals like Springer Nature, Science Direct, IEEE Access, Materials Research Express and Journal of the Mechanical Behaviour of Materials.  He is an official reviewer of original research articles for Materials Research Express, Results in Surfaces and Interfaces, Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India): Series A & B and many more. He is also a member of Institute of Engineers, IEEE (Senior member), SAE India and other professional societies.

In addition to his teaching role at Symbiosis Institute of Technology, he has also been involved in various professional initiatives, such as serving as the Department Advisory Committee member and Board of Studies member for Robotics and Automation. He actively involved in organizing international conferences, seminars, and workshops, and he has applied research proposals for funding under agencies like AICTE and DST. His dedication to advancing education is further reflected by his participation in numerous faculty development programs and workshops on emerging technologies.
