Dr. Nishanth Ramdas is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru, India.

He obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from VIT University and subsequently completed postdoctoral research at the University of Oxford, UK, under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) programme. His research integrates synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, and chemical biology, with a focus on the design and synthesis of biologically active small molecules for therapeutic applications.

Dr. Ramdas has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in leading international journals. His current research interests include targeted protein degradation (PROTACs), medicinal chemistry, heterocyclic chemistry, sustainable synthetic methodologies, and the discovery of novel therapeutic agents for cancer and infectious diseases.

Passionate about teaching and mentoring, he is committed to fostering scientific curiosity, research excellence, and innovation among students while developing collaborative research that bridges fundamental chemistry with translational drug discovery.
