Brief Profile Passed UGC- NET from conducted by CSIR in the year June 1998 and ASRB – NET from ASRB in the year October 2001. Courses taught are Fibre and Yarn science, Fabric Analysis, Wet processing, Dyeing and Printing, Textile Testing and Quality Control, Tools and equipment’s, Elements of Fashion, Traditional Textiles, Embroidery, Textile and Yarn Craft, Handicrafts, Textiles and Fashion Design, Basics of Sewing, Fashion Construction Studio, World Fashion, Indian History of Fashion, Historic Textiles, Garment Making, Fashion Portfolio and Final Collection, Pattern and Apparel Making, Pattern Making and Clothing Construction Studio, Apparel Quality Assurance, Garment Surface Ornamentation, Fashion Forecasting, Clothing Culture and Communication, Apparel Production, Apparel Marketing and Merchandising. Worked as Chairperson of Board of studies and Board of Examination for B.Sc Fashion design/ Garment design/ Leather Deign Mangalore University.(2001-2003). Worked as a Member of Board of Examination for B. Sc Fashion and Apparel design course, Bangalore University, Bangalore in the years 2006- 2007, 2008-2009, 2015-2016 and 2017-2018. Board of Studies in Fashion and Apparel Design(UG), Bangalore University for a period of 3 years (26-5-2017 to 26-5-2020), member of Board of Examination, B.Sc FAD, Bangalore Central University from 2019-2020. Organized various fashion shows, exhibitions for Karavali utsava, Bangalore Habba, Khadi Fest, Inter Collegiate Fest etc. Coordinated the activities of “Centre of Excellence in Garment Design, Garment Manufacturing and Quality Control, established under the scheme of Nuthana Javali Neethi 2013-18, Dept. of Handloom and Textiles, Govt. of Karnataka from June 2018 onwards. Attended the Post Industrial Design Event “Hakathon” November 6th to 8th, 2019 organised by Faculty of Art, History, Cultural studies and Design, International School, Ural Federal University, Ekaternburg, Russsia as an subject expert. Received 4 Certificates of Excellence for Reviewing different articles Science Domain International , www.sciencedomain.org in the 2019 and 2020. Attended the event of Foot way Mr ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ and Mrs. ಕನ್ನಡತಿ as chief Guest on 6th Dec 2021. Attended the Post Industrial Design Event “Hakathon” on line mode as mentor, 26.11.2020-17.12.2020, organised by Faculty of Art, History, Cultural studies and Design, International School, Ural Federal University, Ekaternburg, Russsia as an subject expert. Attended the Post Industrial Design Event “Hakathon” on line mode as mentor, 1.12.2021-17.12.2021 organised by Faculty of Art, History, Cultural studies and Design, International School, Ural Federal University, Ekaternburg, Russsia as an subject expert. Conducted FDP program on 13 June 2022 on topic “Innovative designing”. Conducted FDP program on 8 July 2022 on topic “Global Unification of Textile, Apparel, Fashion Manufacturers, Designers, Researchers, Academicians and Consumers- Challenges and solutions” in online mode. Attended webinars, seminars, UGC sponsored refreshers course, organised workshop, seminars, symposium, fashion shows and conferences. Chief Guest for fashion event organised by KLE Institute and Chief Guest for International Women’s day organised by Texport Apparels LLP.
