Dr. Lakshmi M. Sundar is an Assistant Professor in Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy. She has more than 11 years of teaching experience. She did her Ph.D. in Pharmacokinetics and Metabolism studies from CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Lucknow, India. She has more than 20 publications in various peer reviewed journals. She has also reviewed various journals and is also a Review Editor of the journal “Technologies and Strategies to Enable Drug Discovery”, Frontiers in Drug Discovery. She is also one of the editors of Conference Proceedings Book, published in collaboration with Royal Society of Chemistry in 2019. Her current research project focusses on identification of active phytochemicals for chronic anti-inflammatory activity and design of synthetic molecules for chronic inflammatory diseases. Her expertise includes development and validation of analytical and bioanalytical method development using HPLC, LC-MS / MS; in vitro and in vivo pharmacokinetics and metabolism.
