Ugra Mohan Roy received his Ph.D. in Microwave Photonics from Coventry University, UK in year 2018. He has received M.E in Communication system from Anna University in 2007 and has completed his B.E in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from North Maharashtra University in year 1999. He has undergone VLSI system design training in the year 2000-2001. He has served as lecturer and senior lecturer from 2001 to 2011. Presently he is working as an assistant professor at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore since 2011. Dr. Ugra Mohan Roy is a member of IETE, ISTE and IEEE. His areas of research are optical communication, microwave photonics, high speed printed circuit board design, signal integrity analysis, electronic system design and development, and Machine learning for photonics devices. He has delivered various corporate training in Signal Integrity and PCB design. He has guided more than 50 PG thesis and more than 10 UG projects. He has published many conference and journal papers in his research area.
