Dr. Boppuru Rudra Prathap is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru. He has over 17 years of academic and research experience in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. His core research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), Natural Language Processing, and Spatio-temporal Data Analytics.
Dr. Prathap has authored over 50 publications in international journals and conferences, many of which are indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. He has filed six patents, with several focusing on healthcare, cyberbullying detection, and intelligent IoT applications. He is also a book editor and contributor to multiple international book chapters with publishers like Springer, Academic Press, IGI Global, and Bentham Books.
Dr. Boppuru Rudra Prathap has actively mentored numerous student research teams, including external IEEE mentees, guiding them toward successful conference presentations at reputed events. In parallel, he has made significant contributions to the academic peer-review ecosystem as a reviewer for various esteemed journals published by IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, and other renowned publishers. With over 100 verified peer reviews and continuous involvement in the review of internationally acclaimed journals, Dr. Prathap’s reviewing efforts reflect his deep commitment to maintaining research integrity and promoting knowledge dissemination across diverse and interdisciplinary domains.
