Dr. Ashwini Somayaji is an academician and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, Faculty of Pharmacy, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS), Bengaluru. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from NITTE University and is certified in Clinical Research and Management. With over five years of teaching and research experience, she specializes in subjects such as Pharmacology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and Pathophysiology. Her research interests include pharmacological screening, cancer biology, probiotic therapeutics, and drug delivery systems. She has published several research articles in reputed peer-reviewed journals and contributed to book chapters in pharmacology and allied sciences. She has actively participated in interdisciplinary and university-funded research projects and is committed to advancing evidence-based therapeutic strategies through translational research.
