Dr. Arun Chandran R is an Assistant Professor and Researcher in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at M S Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduate, he has cultivated a diverse research portfolio spanning prescription pattern analysis, drug utilization evaluation, and community based educational interventions.
His current research is directed towards Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), with a strong focus on health related quality of life, patient reported outcomes, and advanced pharmacotherapy. He has published in reputed national and international journals and actively contributes to the academic community through workshops, conferences, and symposia of national and global importance.
In addition to his academic and research pursuits, Dr. Arun has coordinated and led several community outreach initiatives, reinforcing the bridge between academic pharmacy practice and public health awareness. He also possesses extensive experience in teaching, institutional accreditation processes, curriculum development, and professional networking. His work reflects a sustained commitment to equitable access to research tools and resources in resource limited settings, aligning with both national health priorities and international standards.
