Peenya is believed to be one of the oldest and largest industrial areas in south-east Asia. The locality is home to over 2,000 industries from across different fields — right from electricals and electronics to renewable energy, from machinery and machine tools to steels and alloys.
It is in the heart of this bustling hub of industry and innovation that our Peenya Campus is located.
Built over a sprawling 30 acres, the campus is a short distance away from industries big and small. The proximity to international and local corporations is capitalised through workshops, visits, seminars, and research opportunities. Students are given the rare chance to observe, up close, the functioning of various industries, giving them a distinctive edge over their peers.
In addition to eco-friendly measures that reduce its carbon footprint, the campus has a range of well-planned facilities that are designed to ensure the safety and comfort of students.
RUAS Faculties on Campus
The Campus has a cafeteria that offers snacks and meals at pocket-friendly prices. The café is a favourite among students and is also frequented by faculty members.
There is also a mess that serves North Indian and South Indian cuisines.
Sports and Fitness
The Peenya Campus offers students interested in sports and athletics a wide range of facilities to choose from — right from a 65,000 sq. ft. common ground for cricket, football and hockey, to standard basketball and volleyball courts. The in-door sports facilities on campus include a table tennis court and rooms for carrom and chess.
A doctor visits the Peenya Campus every day to check in on the health and welfare of the students. An ambulance and a driver are also available on campus 24/7 to take students to the nearest medical facility in case of an emergency.
All students of RUAS are also covered by health insurance.
