PhD Induction Programme – August 2025 Batch

The Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) at RUAS successfully conducted the PhD Induction Programme for the August 2025 batch on 1st August 2025. The event marked the formal welcome of over 40 newly admitted PhD scholars, comprising 23 Full Time and 17 Part Time scholars, into the University’s research community.

The program commenced at 10:00 AM with an insightful address by former Pro-Vice Chancellor, Research, Prof. Govind R. Kadambi, who set the tone with a powerful note on the journey of a PhD scholar. Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kuldeep K. Raina delivered the closing message, inspiring scholars to embrace the path of research with perseverance and purpose.

Attended by Deans, Associate Deans, Faculty, PhD Coordinators, HoDs, and the ORI team, the day featured a comprehensive induction presentation, certificate distribution to acknowledge faculty contributors to the ORI, and guided lab tours at both the Technology campus in Peenya and the Medical Sciences campus facilities at the Gnanagangothri campus in Mathikere. The new doctoral students were able to get a glimpse of the vibrant RUAS research infrastructure.

The induction program was a successful blend of orientation, recognition, and engagement—laying a strong foundation for the scholars' research journey at RUAS.
