Abstract
Border molding is the process by which the shape of the borders of the denture impression tray is made to conform to patient’s sulcus accurately, using a thermoplastic low fusing or green stick compound. Softening of the green stick impression compound is usually done (Current Practice) manually through dry heat using alcohol torch (Bunsen burner)
Summary of Invention
The current invention is a battery operated portable device capable of softening and dispensing thermoplastic material using temperature controlled heating elements. And material dispensed using motorized mechanism with adjustable speed and flow control of the material.
