Insightful Session on Research Proposal Writing by Professor Vikram Jayaram

The Office of Research and Innovation at MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) hosted a distinguished guest lecture on Research Proposal Writing on December 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the MDP Auditorium, Faculty of Management and Commerce, GG Campus

The session was delivered by Professor Vikram Jayaram, Honorary Professor at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and former Dean of the Division of Mechanical Sciences. Over 55 participants, including 45 registered faculty members and researchers, attended the engaging lecture.

Professor Jayaram shared valuable insights into navigating the competitive landscape of research funding in Indian universities. The session emphasized strategies for targeting funding agencies, identifying impactful research problems, fostering collaborations, and leveraging institutional support systems. Drawing from his extensive experience in materials engineering, he also shared practical examples to inspire attendees
