At RUAS, we believe that academic research is a natural progression from ‘knowing’ to ‘applying’.
Learnings from academic research hold enormous real life implications for industry, society, and — by extension – for education. Research promotes critical thinking, analytic skills, and creative problem solving skills.
We offer Academic Research Programmes across all our Faculties.
PhD programs lay the foundation for a rewarding career in research and academia and can be done either full-time or part-time.
RUAS is home to over 23 Research Centres that specialise in various areas across different disciplines.
Each Centre is led by an experienced researcher and is outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment that aids students and researchers alike in conducting groundbreaking research.
Visiting Researchers Programme
RUAS’s Visiting Researcher Programme encourages professors and scientists from across the country, and the world, to spend 4 weeks a year with any of the research centres at the University, either as an advisor or an active researcher on a particular project.
This gives students a wonderful opportunity to interact with scholars from other fields and other countries, and to actively engage with them, creating the perfect platform for exchange of ideas and knowledge.
RUAS has three in-house journals that are published every six months.
