Assistant Professor

Mrs. Aditi Arun Rao currently holds the position of Assistant Professor of Psychology in the School of Social Sciences at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences. Prior to this, she served as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Humanities at M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts Science and Commerce in Bengaluru, and also as a Lecturer at Sri Bhuvanendra College in Karkala.

She has extensive experience in teaching various courses such as General Psychology, Child Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Industrial/​Organizational Psychology, Social Psychology, and Counselling Psychology to undergraduate students. She has also taught Psychology and Life to postgraduate students. Additionally, she has served as Guest Faculty at M.S. Ramaiah College of Law. She has also demonstrated her commitment to Institutional Quality Assurance as the IQAC Criteria 1 Coordinator at MSRCASC.

Mrs. Aditi is interested in the broad field of educational psychology. Her research interest in educational psychology includes academic achievements and motivation, effective teaching strategies, technology education, SEL, teacher development, assessment and evaluation and parental involvement.
