Associate Professor

Divya BS received the Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2001 from Bangalore University. Then obtained Master of Technology degree in 2005 from visvesvaraya technological university, Belgaum. She received Ph.D degree in 2019 with specialization in Image processing and Machine Learning from Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore. She is a recipient of the Runner Award for a Research Publication at the International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR 2016). The award was given out for a research paper HEp‑2 cell classification using artificial neural network approach” in the contest organized by ICPR 2016. She has authored a book Image Processing” addressing the syllabus of Visveswaraya Technological University engineering course revised 2nd edition published by Sapna book house, Bangalore (www​.sap​naon​line​.com). Her current interests include the areas of pattern recognition and machine learning in Computer vision, with applications like medical image analysis. She serves as a referee for many relevant journals.
