As part of Clean India initiative, RUAS NSS Units organized a Plog Run on 29^th October, 2022. The activity involved picking up plastic waste from the roads, collecting it in bags and handing it over to municipal officials for proper disposal. NSS volunteers were also given placards to display it to the public with different messages on harmful effects of plastics. The teams dispersed in different directions in localities surrounding the University campus. All the collected waste was sent in a van to a common point in the campus for further disposal. Finally it was time for group photos and a big round of applause to Mr. Damodar Nayak and Ms. Pranupa S, Program Officers, following which everybody dispersed.
