Expression… RUAS Fine Arts Club organized a Painting and Collage Making competition on 21^st February, 2022, on the occasion of ​“Matrubhasha Diwas” (Mother Language day)… a day observed every year in order to promote linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism around the world. The Theme: selected for these two events were Folk Art Painting: A reflection of true ethos of India and Diversity and Multilingualism.

The objective behind these competitions was to make students understand diverse cultures in India and various forms of literature, craft, performing arts, scripts and other forms of creative expression and encourage usage of not only the respective mother language, but other Indian languages as well. The competitions were held at Garden Area, School of Social Sciences, Heritage Building, Gnanagangothri Campus.
