On March 14, 2024, Rotaract Club of RUAS in collaboration with Dept. of Transfusion Medicine and Blood Center, Ramaiah Memorial Hospital organized ​“Mahadan 9.0” — Blood Donation Drive at the Dwarka Auditorium. The event aimed to promote the noble cause of blood donation for saving lives.

In order to guarantee a secure drive, Ramaiah Memorial Hospital ensured a thorough pre-donation examinations for volunteers. A total of 60 units of blood were collected during the drive. Donors included students, faculty, and staff. The collected blood will contribute to addressing the ongoing demand for blood in hospital. The event wrapped up with a closing ceremony during which certificates of appreciation were awarded to blood donors, volunteers, and organizers. Representatives from Dept. of Transfusion Medicine and Blood Center extended their gratitude for the fruitful collaboration.
