On 27^th July 2022, a Blood Donation Camp was organized by RUAS NSS Unit, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences in association with Ramaiah Memorial Hospital as part of centenary celebration of Honourable Founder Dr. M.S. Ramaiah. The camp began at 11:00 A.M and went on till 2 PM and 50 units of blood were donated by both students and the staff members. By organizing such camps, RUAS NSS Unit is creating awareness amongst students about the serious problems of acute blood shortage and is trying to encourage the first-time donors to curb the initial hesitation/​fear for blood donation.
