Admissions Process
Welcome to Ramaiah University College of Engineering. Our streamlined admission process ensures transparency and accessibility for all qualified candidates. Follow the steps below to secure your seat in one of our B.Tech programs.
Online Application
Our online application process opens every year in the month of December. Candidates can submit their applications through our official portal with complete information about their academic qualifications and examination scores.
Entrance Examination & Seat Allotment
Seat Allotment Process for B.Tech Programs:
Entrance Scores Accepted: Candidates with valid COMEDK, JEE (Main), or KCET scores will be considered for admissions, however filling up Application for RUCE is mandatory.
Selection Criteria: Candidates will be selected based on their entrance examination performance and adherence to all eligibility criteria.
Payment Deadline
Upon receiving your Provisional Offer Letter, full fees must be paid on or before the last date mentioned in the letter. Failure to pay by the deadline will result in cancellation of your seat.
Document Submission
Students are required to submit their original documents along with the first-year fee payment receipt to the Directorate of Admissions upon notification via email. This must be done within the specified timeframe.
Final Admission Letter
Upon successful verification of all submitted documents, a Final Letter of Admission will be issued, confirming your enrollment in the program.

Important Note
After verification of all original marks cards and certificates, if they are found to be in order, the competent authority of the University will confirm your admission. However, if at a later date any documents are found to be false, fake, fabricated, or fudged, the University will cancel the admission and forfeit the fee collected. RUCE also reserves the right to take any action as per University rules, including criminal proceedings as per law.
Admission Cancellation & Refund Policy
If a student chooses to withdraw from the program, refunds will be made as per the following schedule:

Important Refund Guidelines
Application fees, once paid, shall NOT be refunded under any circumstances.
For cases falling under Item No. 1 in the table above, the University will deduct 5% of the aggregate fee or ₹5,000 + ₹900 GST (whichever is lower) as processing charges.
For Foreign/NRI candidates, refunds will be made in accordance with RBI/foreign exchange regulations.
For students withdrawing more than 30 days after admission, additional course fees for the remaining period of study will be charged.
Instructions for Indian Candidates
Fill in the Admission Application Form only after verifying your eligibility for the program.
Follow the instructions provided in the Application Form strictly.
It is mandatory to provide your correct email address and phone number for all official communication.
The University/Board/Marks percentage filled in the Application Form will be considered for all admission procedures.
Any discrepancy found during original document verification will result in cancellation of admission.
If you have appeared for Class 12 or UG degree exams and results are awaited, you may apply, but confirmation will be subject to passing exams and meeting minimum percentage criteria.
You cannot apply more than once for the same program in one admission year.
