About DoS
Sociology is an exciting and illuminating field that analyses and explains important matters in our lives, communities, and the world.
Sociology is the study of social structures and human connections. The sociology study covers various topics, including crime, religion, the family, the state, racial and socioeconomic divisions, shared cultural beliefs, societal stability, and dramatic social change.
Understanding how human activity and consciousness both influence and are shaped by external cultural and social systems is the goal of sociology, which unifies the study of these several fields of study. Therefore, the Department of Sociology offers an undergraduate and PhD program that provides critical analytical training to enable students to analyze specific social problems in both the public and private sectors at the group and individual levels.
