FHMCT is one of the pioneer Hotel Management institutions in Bengaluru aiming for competency-based global education to students. In the past 30 years of operation the faculty has evolved with the need and demand of skill and management-based holistic hospitality education. It is the one of the premier hotel management institutes in Bangalore with an exclusive department for management studies- hospitality, emphasizing on global management education to the hospitality graduates. The department faculty members meticulously strive to impart business management skills to the students to hone their management skills for them to be the ‘Budding Managers/ Supervisors and not just the Junior Staff in any organizations’.
Most of the management courses are administered at a higher level of academic learning to the students. We focus on building research aptitude, problem solving skills, qualitative and quantitative statistical abilities, professional writing, communication skills and multi-discipline knowledge through the hospitality research projects, case study, business assignments, in-house magazine ‘Hospitium’ publications and report writing. Industry inertaction with the managers are organised for the students for an exclusive Ph.D program administration and guidance to the scholars is taken care of by the department.
