Welcome to the Department of Civil Engineering! Established in 2014, the vision of the Department is to be a well-renowned department at both the state and national levels.

With young and vibrant faculty and state-of-the-art laboratories, the Department offers UG-PG teaching and Doctoral programme. It offers B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with a curriculum designed carefully to prepare the students for critical thinking and to tackle challenges in the field of Civil Engineering. The department also provides students the opportunity to improve communication and presentation skills. Industrial Training and site visits are arranged to impart practical knowledge and understanding of the field constraints and challenges.

Civil Department also offers four major post-graduate programs, M.Tech. in Structural Engineering, M.Tech in Construction Engineering & Management , M.Tech in Transportation Engineering and M.Tech in Environmental Engineering & Management. The department is committed to provide students with a strong, broad based fundamental engineering education and prepare them for a career in the industry, teaching and national laboratories. There are many career paths for civil engineers.

Civil engineers are essential in government agencies, private and public sector undertakings to take up mega projects like metro, expressways, industrial structures, reservoir projects, flyovers, townships and mega city projects. The Department sincerely strives to prepare the students and make them industry ready.

The Department of Civil Engineering at MSRUAS provides state-of-the-art facilities and resources for conducting innovative and impactful research in various areas of civil engineering. On behalf of all the Civil Engineering faculty, I welcome you all to the Department.
