About ARE
The Department of Automotive and Robotics Engineering at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) is committed to developing industry-ready engineers capable of addressing the challenges of future mobility, intelligent automation and advanced manufacturing.

The department integrates the domains of Automotive Engineering, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Mechatronics and Smart Manufacturing to create a multidisciplinary learning environment aligned with Industry 4.0 requirements.
Located at the Technology Campus, the department leverages the strong academic ecosystem of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and provides students with opportunities for experiential learning through laboratories, industrial projects, internships, innovation activities and research-oriented programmes. The curriculum is designed with inputs from academia, industry experts and professional bodies to ensure graduates possess the knowledge and skills required by the evolving automotive and automation sector
