Ms Amrita Prabhu is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Management Studies – Hospitality under the Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology, RUAS. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Her love and interest in food and related topics egged her on to study for a Master’s degree in Food Service Management and Dietetics. Her love for learning languages came to the fore after she had put in time on researching and teaching courses on Food Technology. A hobby quickly turned into a career-changing decision which urged her to take up a 3‑year Diploma in French from Alliance Française. As an Assistant Professor of French at RUAS, she is much sought-after as a private teacher as well.
