Dr. Shivanand is a nursing graduate and has completed his master in public health and PhD in Public health. He has 8 years of experiences which constitutes 6 years of research and two years of teaching. He has worked in different organizations including Institute of Health Management Research, Bengaluru, TDU Bengaluru, IPH Bengaluru and Sangath, Goa. His research areas are primary healthcare, integrative healthcare, health promotion, and One health. He has expertise in qualitative and mixed methods research and Health Policy and Systems research methodology. His PhD focused on exploring self-reliance in primary healthcare using traditional medicine.
