Mr Raj Kumar Dey works as an Assistant Professor and Placement Coordinator with the Faculty of Hospitality Management and Catering Technology, RUAS. He has accumulated a wealth of experience and first-hand insights into the industry having worked at various prestigious hotels in London and India for over a decade. He has specialised in night auditing and pre-opening of hotels in UK and India besides being skilled in PMS and day-to-day operations. On completing his hotel management course in India, he enrolled into the University of Sunderland, UK for his Master’s degree in Business Administration. He subsequently trained at the well-known Sofitel London St James and worked at the Hyatt Hotels Corporation before entering the academic world.
