Guthi Jambunath, Deputy Registrar, RUAS Joined RUAS as Deputy Registrar on November 2, 2022. He is a graduate of Science and Law from Karnatak Science College and University College of Law, Dharwad respectively

Prior to joining RUAS, he worked for Govt. of Karnataka (28 years) in the Departments of Cooperation, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, Agriculture and Rural Drinking Water & Sanitation (RDWS) as well as Govt. of India (8 years) in the Ministries of Rural Development and Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs, New Delhi

In Govt. of Karnataka, his key assignments were Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayats of Davanagere & Vijayapura, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister, Registrar & Acting Vice Chancellor of University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur, Deputy Secretary (Admn), in Dept. of RDWS

In Govt. of India, he worked as Private Secretary / OSD to the Union Minsters of State of the Ministries of Rural Development and Food, Public Distribution & Consumer Affairs, New Delhi and Regional Director of the Regional Office of the Council for Advancement of People’s Action & Rural Technology, Dharwad.

He is an active Sportsman (Tennis, Badminton, Table Tennis & Basketball) and Cyclist. He has flair for creative writing in English and Kannada.
