The MoU between University of Memphis and the Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences gives both organisations the opportunity to engage in collaborative research and academic ventures. 

The focus of the MoU is joint research activities, joint teaching or supervision of students, staging of joint seminars, conferences and academic meetings, conducting special academic programs and exchanges for students and faculty members, ensuring transfer of academic materials, and curriculum development that contributes towards enhancing learning of students and faculty members.
