Training and Lifelong Learning

The “Directorate of Training and Lifelong Learning”, will focus on Training, Skill Development and Lifelong Learning activities. The Directorate will offer these programmes to students and practicing professionals from industry, businesses and academia. The Directorate will facilitate the delivery of Training and Lifelong Learning programmes through the members of Faculties of the University, consultants and its own staff.

The Directorate will offer the following programmes as part of Training and Lifelong Learning activities:

  1. Vocational degree programmes leading to B. Voc., degree with various specialisations
  2. Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice (PGDPP) with various specialisations
  3. Advanced Certificate Programmes (ACP) with various specialisations to train fresh graduates to make them industry ready
  4. Module Training Programme (MTP) to train practicing professionals to upgrade their technical & managerial knowledge and skills
  5. Corporate Training Programme (CTP) to upgrade technical knowledge and skills of working professionals
  6. Seminars, Workshops and Proficiency courses
  7. Coordinating with industries for offering User Oriented Postgraduate Courses

Techno Centre - Consultancy, Product Design and Development and Entrepreneurship Development

The Techno Centre undertakes following activities

  1. Provide solutions to Engineering and Health Sciences related requirements from Industry
  2. Design and Develop Products of relevance in Engineering and Health Sciences
  3. Provide Testing and Validation services to Industry
  4. Undertake Commercialization of Technology Products
  5. Incubate Technology Business
  6. Support Technology Business
