Partnership with C-CAMP
To encourage entrepreneurship among students of life sciences, biotechnology, medical and allied health sciences, Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), the foremost bio and life sciences incubator in India.
Facilitated by the Center for Entrepreneurship at RUAS, this collaboration aims to integrate RUAS into C-CAMP’s Life Science Entrepreneurship Development Programme (Life-ED) aimed at promoting life sciences research, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the Indian academic community, beginning with Bengaluru as the first region of interest. The LOI was signed by the registrar of RUAS, Dr GS Venkatesh and Dr Taslimarif Saiyed, Director-CEO, C-CAMP, in February 2024.
Partnership with Babson College, USA
RUAS entered into a strategic partnership with Babson College USA, widely considered as the world’s topmost college for entrepreneurship. The partnership with Babson is aimed at strengthening RUAS’ offerings in the space of entrepreneurship education and pedagogy and will be facilitated by the Center for Entrepreneurship at RUAS. As part of the agreement, ten faculty members from RUAS participated in the Studio for Entrepreneurship Educators in Asia, an acclaimed Babson program for entrepreneurship educators that focuses on cultivating entrepreneurial mindsets and applying action-based teaching pedagogies to do so. RUAS will be integrating universal learning modules developed by Babson into its entrepreneurship curriculum offerings across the university.

Dr Sonali Gupta conducted Master session on research, professional development workshop on new directions for business incubation, ecosystem studio, chaired conference plenary on Effectuation and chaired a paper presentation session at ICCSI, IIT Madras
Dr Sonali Gupta Won the Société General Best Paper award for paper on research on Business Incubators, Accelerators and Innovation Ecosystems at IIT Madras
