"Smart Village Budget Plan Contest"

The rural population is reeling under the major problems of electricity, education, transportation, hospitals, unavailability of doctors, poor technology adoption in farming the crops, drainage and sewage, shrinking of employment and wealth generation opportunities and many more.

The smart village concept is needed for a sustainable and a secured future of the villages. They should be able to lead a life without compromises. The concept of smart villages is a global approach to assist the donors and socio-economic planners for technological development of rural India.

The theme of Anavikrata-2018 is "Development of Smart Village- Budget Plan Contest". Through this we seek to explore innovative ways for developing smart villages to solve rural problems and propose a budget plan for the same.

“Anavikrata 2018” Smart Village Budget Plan Contests


  • Budget Plan Contest open for pursuing, BBA/BBM Students
  • Select any village of your choice & propose smart village budget plan
  • Submit the proposed plan in form of PPT { Format_ Heading 32, Text 28, Font Calibri}
  • shortlisted teams will be called for Round 2 held during Anavikrata 2018 @RUAS @Bangalore
  • Deadline for Round 1 Submission : Will be Intimate Soon


  • Shortlisted teams need to present solution in form of ppts as well as poster to a panel of judge followed by Q&A
  • Further Details will be communicated to the shortlisted team.

  • Students in a team of 3-5 are expected to present a budget plan for upgrading any village in India into a smart Village.
  • The PPTs should be submitted on or before 13th April 2018
  • Shortlisted groups will have to present on 16th April 2018
  • Hand Made Posters should be displayed on the day of event
  • Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day of the event
  • Students are expected to exhibit good presentation skills. Mere reading of slides is not acceptable
  • Students should carry their college identity cards.
  • Participation certificate for all the final round participants.

Round-1 (Prelims)

  • PPT should not exceed 10 slides excluding the cover page, table of contents, references, if any
  • Submission to be sent to
  • Submissions to be sent before 23:59:59hours, 13th April 2018
  • Teams should come up with a team name that is to be quoted in the presentation. Institution names should not appear anywhere in the presentation.
  • Subject line of the email: Anavikrata _‹Team name›_Round 1
  • Body of Email: Team Name, Names of team members, Name of POC, Contact Number, Email Id, Team Registration Id, Institute name of each team member
  • Filename: Anavikrata_‹Team Name›_Round 1
  • Dully filled registration form: Anavikrata__‹Team Name›_regform
  • Shortlisted teams for round 2 will be notified through email and whats app

Round-2 (On-campus Finals)

  • Details will follow after Round 1 results are announced
